Cod Digestion With Glass Parts
The COD Digestion Unit is specially designed for the determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in water and wastewater analysis. It consists of a solid aluminium heating block that ensures uniform and efficient heat transfer during sample digestion. The unit is provided with precise sample digestion slots of 38 mm diameter, suitable for standard COD vials.
This digestion system is available with a capacity to process 6 or 15 samples simultaneously, making it ideal for laboratories with varying testing requirements. Temperature control is managed by a microprocessor-based PID digital temperature indicator cum controller, integrated with a digital timer for accurate and repeatable digestion cycles.
The unit offers a temperature range from ambient ±5°C to 150°C, with a high temperature accuracy of ±1°C, ensuring reliable and consistent COD analysis results. It operates on a 220/230 Volt AC power supply, compatible with standard laboratory electrical systems.
